The Language & Life Podcast is a long-form podcast about how people interact with and experience the world. Some guests are experts in topics I find interesting, while others share inspiring life experiences. Each episode unfolds as an open dialogue guided by curiosity, reflection, and a deep interest in both the everyday and the extraordinary.
About the Host
My name is Hunter Langenhorst and I'm a Ph.D. Candidate in the field of Applied Linguistics. As a researcher, I'm particularly interested in the different kinds of interactional tools humans use to engage in face-to-face teaching and learning processes. More broadly, I’m interested in learning about topics related to qualitative research, science, philosophy, the outdoors, music, education, and work.

Isaac Wisdom is a pianist and trombonist from Arizona with music degrees from Berklee College of Music’s Valencia, Spain campus and from Arizona State University. He plays in many different styles, but especially enjoys jazz, samba, salsa, soul, and funk. Outside of music, Isaac enjoys learning languages and working on hobby electronic projects.
